Features and measured limits
Everything runs on your machine. The figures come from tests we ran ourselves, on the test sets named here. We publish the limits because you should know them before you rely on a result.
| Feature | What you can do | Limits we found |
|---|---|---|
| Cited answers | Ask in French, German, Dutch or English. The answer names the passage and page; the app checks that figures in the answer appear in that passage and marks sentences it cannot confirm. It says so when the documents do not contain the answer (12 of 12 test cases). | About 1 answer in 8 was wrong and 1 citation in 8 did not support its answer. French answers were wrong more often (25%) than English (0%). Tested on 40 questions about Swiss law. |
| Scanned PDFs | Turns scanned pages into searchable text. About 1% of characters wrong on clean and degraded scans. | Without a graphics chip a page takes about 18 seconds. Handwriting and tables in scans were not tested. |
| Phone photos of pages | Photograph a page and add it to the file. About 12% of characters were wrong in tests. | Needs a graphics chip. Tested on synthetic photos. |
| Redaction with review | Finds names, emails, phones, addresses, bank account numbers and birth dates. All 42 found in tests; all 16 in two German documents. You accept or reject each one; the redaction is burned into a new PDF and the result is re-read to confirm the text is gone. | Tested on 5 short documents. Always review the result before sharing. |
| Records sheet and chronology | Table of every document in the matter and a dated chronology, exported to Word and Excel. | Built and used on our own test files; no accuracy figure yet. |
| Deadlines | Calculates dates such as "14 days after service" with the national rules and holiday tables of Germany (including the Länder), France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, lists every skipped day, and exports to your calendar after you confirm. | The rule tables follow the statutes but have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Verify every date. |
| Statute lookup | Search 20 German federal laws and the main Dutch codes (Civil Code books 1-3 and 5-7, civil and criminal procedure, criminal law, administrative law, bankruptcy, the Constitution) offline by article number or by meaning, each result with its official citation and "as of" date. | The right article was in the top 5 for 93% of 57 German and 86% of 36 Dutch test questions (questions we wrote ourselves). French and Luxembourg statutes follow. No case law. |
| Dictation and meeting notes | Speak and get text in French, English or German, far faster than real time. A transcript becomes a summary and a list of actions. | Word error 2% to 10% on synthetic speech; real voices, accents and background noise were not tested. French was the weakest. Dutch dictation was not measured. |
| Summaries | Bullets, prose or key takeaways, in the document's language, also for documents longer than the model's context. Figures that do not appear in the original are flagged. | Summaries give an overview and leave out exact figures. Use cited answers for specifics. |
| Translation | French, English, German and Dutch into English; English or French into German (quality 72 to 75 out of 100 on test paragraphs). | Other pairs were not measured. Check legal wording yourself. |
| Templates | Fill your own Word templates ({{placeholders}}) from a form; sample letters and notices in French, German and Dutch are included. | The samples have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Text boxes and hyperlinks inside templates are not filled. |
| Matters and sharing | One workspace per matter. Export a matter as a signed, encrypted file for a colleague, or open it from a shared folder inside your office network. | Staff seats cannot ask questions, compute deadlines or use the statute index. |
