Vult Legal reads, searches, summarises and redacts client documents entirely offline, with answers that cite the page they came from, deadline calculations and a records sheet you can export.
No card needed. After the trial you can still open, export and delete your matters.
Your documents stay on your machine
- The AI models run on your computer. No document, question or answer is sent to us or to an AI provider.
- The only network traffic: your licence check, updates you ask for, the one-time model download and signed statute data. You can see and switch each one in Settings.
- Every model call is logged per matter on your machine (which model, when, a fingerprint of the input) and the log can be exported.
What it does
Answers that cite the page
Ask in French, German, Dutch or English. The answer quotes the passage and page it comes from, checks the figures against it and says so when the file does not contain the answer.
Scans and phone photos
Turns scanned PDFs into searchable text (about 1% of characters wrong in our tests). Phone photos need a graphics chip.
Redaction you review
Finds names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, IBANs and birth dates, shows each one for your decision, then burns the redactions into a new PDF and checks that the text is really gone.
Records sheet and chronology
A table of every document (date, type, parties, pages) and a dated chronology of the file, exported to Word or Excel.
Deadlines with the working shown
Computed by code, not guessed by a model: the rule, the trigger date, holidays and weekends skipped, for Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. You confirm each date before it is saved.
Your own templates
Fill your firm's Word templates from the matter's facts, and summarise or translate long documents between French, German, Dutch and English.
What we tell you up front
An answer can be wrong. In our test on 40 questions about Swiss law, about 1 answer in 8 was wrong and 1 citation in 8 did not support its answer. Always open the cited page.
The deadline rules are built from the statutes and shown step by step, but have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Verify every date.
Speed on Windows laptops without a graphics chip has not been measured yet. Handwriting is not supported.
